On Thursday, May 9, the first grade took a trip to Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington. We had an awesome day! The kids enjoyed seeing the crocodiles, monkeys, and especially the sea otters. In groups, the students observed which animals were endangered and why. They also really enjoyed spending time in the rainforest building and seeing the giant python! Thank you to the chaperones who went with us to help make it a successful day!

We have one more day to collect food for the Food Drive contest for the Postal Service. Thank you so much for your generosity! Let’s see if we can fill a few more boxes before the weigh-in tomorrow! I would love to see the Marseilles Postal Service wearing our Raider hats!
