Dear SGS Learning Community,
I hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. At the July 29th Board meeting, the Board of Education adopted the “Return to School” plan and set in-person student dismissal at 2:00 PM up to the Labor Day Holiday. At Monday night’s, August Board Meeting, we assessed our in-person and remote student numbers and decided to extend the 2:00 PM dismissal throughout the 1st trimester (November 13th). This shorter day will allow staff members time to collaborate, plan and work with remote learners. This will also provide our in-person learners with a break from social distancing and face masks. We appreciate your continued support and flexibility as we start this new school year!
