March 21st, 2020 - Update

Dear Seneca Grade School Community,

With the Governor’s statewide “Stay at Home Order” from today March 21st until April 8th, the order to keep all Illinois school closed has been extended through April 7th.  Personnel who are preparing and distributing meals to students have been listed as exempt from this mandate, so meal pickup/delivery will continue as planned next week.  The meal service is scheduled for Tuesday the 24th and Thursday the 26th starting at 11:00 A.M.  These meals are being provided to any SGS student free of charge.  If you would like to be added to this list for meal pickup or delivery, please email wcondon@sgs170.org or text (815)768-9742.  You may also call (815)357-8744 ext. 2161.

Next week is still our scheduled spring break, however the State Board of Education has indicated that they will be issuing guidance for providing educational instruction for the following weeks.  Once we have our plan for remote instructional days formulated, we will be communicating those details to you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.  Wishing you and your family good health and safety.
