About me:

I am very excited to be able to join such a great school and community as Seneca!  For the last 2 years, I have been teaching 4th grade in Gibson City, IL.  My wife and I loved Gibson City and I enjoyed my time there, but we are ecstatic to be back near our families and hometowns.  We also welcomed a new addition to our family, Tenley Grace Yandell, on July 17.  We're still getting used to our new sleeping schedule, but we love having a daughter and all the excitement that comes with it!  As you can see, I’m a big White Sox fan, and enjoy watching or playing sports of all kind.  

Along with teaching 6th grade Lit./Language, I am coaching the 6th/7th boy's baseball and 8th grade boy's basketball teams.  It will be a busy year with everything, but I am very excited to get to teach, and know, your children as we ALL become better readers and writers!
