Math RTI groups are in full swing this semester.  In Kindergarten group, we are working on identifying and writing the numbers 0-10.  First grade is working on missing number concepts and less than & greater than concepts.  We are working on place value and skip counting in 2nd grade and 3rd grade.  4th grade has been focusing on elapsed time and place value.

Any extra practice you can give your child at home really helps at school.  If you are making dinner and need help measuring or reading a recipe, ask you child to help cook; it shows them that they will use these math skills later in life.  When you are traveling in a car, have the child figure out how far you have traveled by using the mile marker signs.  Daily review of their math facts is an easy activity to do while riding in a car.  Any and all extra practice students get will benefit them at school.  Thank you for all you do to help us continue to improve math skills at home and at school.  Below are math web sites that your child can go to and practice math skills learned at school.
