2010 PSO South Campus Lock-in

2010 PSO South Campus Lock-in

On March 26th, over one hundred 6th, 7th, and 8th graders participated in the first ever South Campus Lock-in.  The lock-in was sponsored by the PSO and took place at the Illinois Valley YMCA in Peru, Illinois.  Students qualified to attend the lock-in by passing all of their 3rd Quarter classes and meeting specific behavior requirements.  While at the lock-in, students had access to basketball courts, volleyball courts, walleyball courts,  and a swimming  pool.  Students could also watch movies, dance, or just hang out together.  In terms of supervision, there were numerous staff members and parents who volunteered their time to make sure everyone had a fun and safe night.  At the end of the event, all of the supervisors agreed that student conduct was excellent and that everyone had a good time.  On behalf of everyone involved with the event, I would like to thank the PSO for their cooperation in providing the funds to give a large number of students the opportunity to participate in a great event.
