Watch for Spiritwear order forms to go home the first week of September.  We want to make sure that orders are in and ready to go for any of you needing "Raider" Spiritwear for our Girls/Boys basketball season!

NEW items that we are now COLLECTING...juice packs not boxes but the pouches.  We are also collecting Nabisco cookie wrappers.  We will receive .02 a pouch for Capri Sun pouches and .01 for all other brands. Below is a list of some of the activities that Seneca Grade School PSO runs.  Feel free to contact any of the officers, listed further on down, if you would like to help with any of these events.  Thank you!

Concessions start up with the first home basketball game!  PSO will offer a concession stand at all home basketball, volleyball, and track meets; provided there is help from the parents.  As each sport season begins you will be asked as a parent to help volunteer your time in running the concession stand.  If you are a parent of a 7th grader you will then sign up for the 8th grade time slot, and then if you are a parent of an 8th grader you will then in turn sign up to work a 7th grade time slot.  That way all parents get to see their child play, as well as support the rest of his/her team.

The PSO also sponsors a least a couple bake sales throughout the school year as well.

Last year was our first year for our "wreath" fundraiser.  It turned out to be a GREAT success too!  Because of that great success and hearing from lots of people that saw the product after it was too late to purchase we decided to host it again.  We plan on early pick-up again, with the final day scheduled during "Lunch with Santa" on December th.

 Jammer is always a BIG hit when he comes to visit our students.  He drops in with the hopes of raising all the students awareness to the importance of READING.  His program is a fairly easy one and very rewarding - FREE JOLIET JACKHAMMER tickets for the following summer season.  Please watch here for updated information as it becomes available.

 

 

    

Walk -A -Thon will be held on Wednesday, April

The walk-a-thon raises quite a bit of money for the PSO, thanks to all the sponsors out there!   Some of this money even gets used towards the 8th grade class trip!  Which means that it is not just for Pre-K - 4th grade, it is open to ALL students of SGS!  Watch for more information come March of 2011.
