Principal McGhee liked having the first day being a ˝ a day, it gave students a chance to meet their teachers and get acquainted to new schedules. Teacher institute day was held on Monday August 17th.  Teachers were busy reviewing schedules, training on the gradebook and attending staff and committee meetings.   Parent nights were well attended and parents gain valuable information from teachers.  Principal McGhee will be working with Mrs. Wheeler, Ms. Gillis and Mrs. Fabris on setting up AIMSWEB testing for the first week in September.  RTI can now be tracked thru the AIMSWEB software, which will cut down on paperwork.

Principal Severson thought the first two days have gone very well. The fifth graders especially have done a great job making the transition to the South Campus.  The new staff members are getting acquainted with the new schedules and are also doing very well.  Parent Night at the South Campus will be on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.  Principal Severson and teachers will review items like the new breakfast program, the RTI math program, and the Revtrak online payment option that parents can use.
